What Circloop supports today, what is being audited, and what comes next.

Circloop should work for as many people as possible — and this page tells you honestly where that stands.

It lists what the app supports today, what is being audited, and what comes next. It grows with every release; the newest changes are at the bottom.

Supported today

  • Dark Interface — every screen of the iPhone app supports dark mode, following your system setting or a manual choice in Settings → Appearance.

This is the only feature we currently declare on the App Store. We only claim what we have verified against Apple's criteria.

Built in from the start

Some of Circloop's design decisions help accessibility without being formal declarations yet:

  • Non-visual guidance. Turn alerts arrive as distinct left/right haptic taps on Apple Watch, and split times can be spoken aloud — you can follow a route without looking at a screen.
  • Focus Mode on the watch: one number at a time, as large as the display allows.
  • Never color alone. Being ahead of or behind your best time is shown with a plus or minus sign and words, not only with green or orange.
  • Standard system controls. The app is built with Apple's native frameworks, so VoiceOver, Voice Control, and system text sizes largely work — but "largely" is not a claim, which is why they are on the audit list below.

Being audited

A full accessibility pass is planned for the December 2026 update. It covers:

  • VoiceOver — labels for every control, the map, the charts, and the watch app.
  • Larger Text — the big metric displays scale with your text size setting.
  • Reduced Motion — animations respect the system setting.
  • Sufficient Contrast and Differentiate Without Color Alone — verified across light and dark mode.
  • Voice Control — every action reachable by voice.

Each feature is declared on the App Store only once it passes.

Coming later

  • Captions — Circloop's audio episodes (2027) will ship with full transcripts.
